Had a GREAT Honeybee Festival in Hahira. It was a little wet on Friday, but thankfully the coverings I left over everything on Friday night and the EZ-Up tent (with sides of course) held off the rain. Wet soap on Saturday morning WOULD NOT have been a good thing. I really enjoyed the new customers and loved explaining my craft to them. I have so many hobbies and talents and many of them go into the making of each and every soap. It's hard to separate the artist in me from the science that's needed to make soap. And although I did HORRIBLE in Chemistry both in high school and college, I LOVE the detail that science demands in soap making. So far I havne't REALLY messed up a batch of soap. I've been able to save every mistake - thankfully. Sometimes a loss of an entire soap can be rather costly! Thank goodness for on-line calculators which let me know how the soap will turn out BEFORE I make it. If you ever have a critique, a question, or a comment regarding one of my soaps, feel free to let me know. No nasty, ugly, unhelpful or degrading comments please. My skin's nnot always as thick as I claim it to be. But I do want your input. Thanks again for all the support. Love ya'll.
